Inoo feeling confuse what to do at the first day he's join volunteer activity in town. He's helping his absent sister to help the team. Everybody seems to know what they have to do and Inoo stuck in the middle. Wondering around asking another volunteer what he can do to help but they already got it all covered. Inoo sighed and sit at the chair at the corner of a tent, he look down to his shoes become interesting to look at.
"Hey... Your hand is empty, right?"
"What?" Inoo look up and seeing a man... A guy standing in front of him. Tall guy, about 175cm tall. Sun-kissed tan to his skin, his head covered with small towel to prevent his sweat drooling from his head. He's holding two boxes contain books and looks like it's heavy for him to carry it all alone. The guy wearing thin white shirt, he rolled up the sleeves revealing muscle in his upper arm which covered with sweat.
"Ah.... I hold nothing."
The man chuckled. Inoo swear his heart skip a beat when he's seeing such innocent kid-alike yet heart warming smile still exist.
"I mean you are free? Not busy?"
"Ah.... Yes. Can i help you?" Inoo rose from his seat.
"Please put this box on the table outside. The children from foster home will come anytime soon."
Inoo reach his hand to take the boxes when his fingers brush the other's. He fell small electric from his finger spread to his body. It feels awkward when he'sever touch the other girl and guy before even his ex, but it never feel like this before.
And it seems the other guy realize it too. Inoo almost drop the boxes when the guy shot another smile.
"Be careful, it's heavy." He take another two boxes and carrying it outside follow by Inoo behind him.
When Inoo success to put the box in the place it should be, he turn his body and found the taller guy stand so close behind him, his heart skip a beat once again. Inoo feeling nervous about the existence of the other. Not he hate him, but otherwise. He feel less worry.
The taller guy release his gloves and offer his hand. "Nice to meet you, i'm Takaki Yuya."
Inoo reply the handshake and smile back, "I'm Inoo Kei. Nice to meet you too..."
"You new here?"
"Yes. I'm the exchange of my sister. She can't come today."
"No wonder you look confuse."
"Yes, but thank you help me or else i will stuck wondering what i have to do and being helpless."
Takaki chuckle, "I think you need this." Takaki fished out a towel from his pocket. To prevent the sweat dropping from you forehead. He wrap the towel around Inoo's head. The moment he do, the gap between Inoo and Takaki lessen, it's only few inch away. Inoo can feel the warm from the taller's breath. He hope Takaki can't hear chaos from his heartbeat.
"There." Takaki put both of his hand beside his body, feel satisfies of his work to tie a towel around Inoo's head.
Inoo chuckle seeing Takaki act like a little boy. "Thanks, Takaki."
"The name seems so formal. I let you call me Yuya from now."
"Only if you call me Kei."
Just by calling each other their first name make them closer step by step.
"Excuse me, is this book booth?" Asked old woman to them. Behind her, there's kid, probably from the orphan.
"That's right. This is all the book for the children." Takaki handing the book one by one to the children in front of them. Inoo lend a hand too.
One of the children tuck Inoo's shirt. "Does this man is your lover?"
Takaki took a peek to his side and slide out small chuckle.
"Ah... We just met today and..."
"Only if he's agree, kiddo...." Takaki answer and give Inoo a wink.
Inoo feel his cheek become warmer more than normal. Takaki really good at flirt.
"But you look like a couple." The kid smile to Yuya.
Yuya kneel in front of the kid and ruffle his hair, "Pray for the best luck for me, kid."
Inoo laugh, "He can be misunderstood, Yuya..."
"I just answer him." Takaki pull out his tongue to Inoo. He give candy to the kid before he back to his group.
"You are good handling children." Inoo giving a thumb to Takaki.
"Only if you're the mother."
"Wait...what?" Inoo punch Takaki's arm playfully.
"But you do need to meet my nice, she will be happy to play with you."
"Why do we need to play with your niece while i can play with our kids later?"
Inoo laugh and throw another playful attack. "Shut it Yuya. The kids can hear us."
"It's okay they smart enough to understand."
Inoo rolled his eyes and continue to handling to children the book they want.
It's 10 o'clock and the charity event is finish. Takaki slowly walk with Inoo to the bus station. Keeping the younger company.
While waiting for the bus to come, Inoo blowing his hand to keep it warm, he forget to bring his mitten along while he remember this is first week of winter.
Takaki see that and grab Inoo's hand and rubbing it to his hand. Takaki hand feel a little bit rough but warm, it's big enough to cover Inoo's whole palm.
"You don't have to do this." The warm creep from his hand to his cheek and down to his heart.
"It's not i have to but i want to." Takaki smile and putting Inoo's hand in his pocket to make sure it still warm. He put off his cashmere and put it in Inoo. "My fat is enough to keep me warm. Bring it back to me next time we meet, Kei."
Inoo let small laugh slip from his mouth.
"I will."
After seconds of silent, Inoo open his mouth again. "Do you take it as a joke if i tell you i like you?"
"Yes, it's a joke."
Inoo put his head down hearing Takaki's answer but he look up to the older again after he hear what Takaki say next, "I know you don't like me. I know you love me."
"You are full of confidence." Inoo snorted.
"But that's what inside your heart, right? If i'm wrong you will not let me kiss you."
Just by a blink Takaki already press his tender lips toward the younger guy. Their moment so intense that Inoo can't hear his bus coming.
"Can i have another?" Asked Inoo after his lip apart.
"Save it for tomorrow because your bus is coming."
Inoo turn his head and slowly run towards the bus.
"Kei!! Kei!!"
Inoo turn his head to see Takaki is behind him.
"I'm happy that your sister is absent today."
"I'm happy that i meet you."
Both of them chuckled before Inoo step inside the bus.
After Inoo reach home, he walk towards his room in the 2nd floor and throw himself to bed. He let out a sigh. Today is tiring but he experience many beautiful things.
"Yuya...." He slip the name in his lips while hugging the dog-doll beside him.
He fish out the cashmere inside his bag when something drop from his satchel.
Red rose. There are 5 of them and a piece of paper 'i love you till the last petal drop.'
"When he put this in my bag? And this is cliche, after all the flower will die soon. Does his love to me this short-timed?"
Inoo frown. When he sniffing the rose, he notice one of the flower is not like any other. One of the flower is made of a plastic.
"So that...." Inoo take a paper again and read it. "It means his love to me last forever?"
Inoo change his doll to Takaki's flower and hold it untill morning.
He volunteer himself to substitute his sister again today because he like to be in the event, with Takaki, again. Even when his sister is available to join the event and do what she have to do.
When he reach he seeing his new lover is standing behind the flower table. But he's not alone. He's chatting with a lovely girl. He feel crack on his chest seeing Takaki slipping a hair behind the girl's ear. He want to go away from the spot and avoiding seeing Takaki. But when he turn around he bump by a guy, makes he fall to the ground. Badly, Takaki see that whole scene and give a sign to a girl to wait.
"Kei.... Kei?"
Inoo try avoiding Takaki. He can't believe Takaki do sweet things to everyone. He almost feel he special to the older guy but he think that he's just another guy in line tricked by a guy he just met. And it's funny that he also share his first kiss with Takaki.
"Kei! Are you mad at me? Are you misunderstood? If you mad at me because i made a mistake i accept it but if you mad at me because that girl you are wrong."
They stop when Takaki able to hold Inoo's arm.
"I'm not mad of you. I'm mad at myself. To fall easily to a person that so good at lurking his prey. Unbelievable."
"You love me,right?"
"Only a fool love you."
Takaki let go out a sigh and kneel in front of Inoo. Almost giving up because of rejection.
"And i am a fool." Takai stare back to Inoo and receive warm hug from the younger.
"That is my sister,okay..." Takaki explain. Inoo feel stupid to conclude everything and act childish.
Takaki let go first and took Inoo's hand, "Inoo Kei, will you take me as your other half?"
"But only after you answer me."
"Do you like me?"
"No..."
Inoo frown. "Do you want me to be with you?"
Takaki shook his head.
"Will you cry if i left you?"
"So why you ask me out?" Inoo frustratingly ruffle his own hair.
"I don't like you but i love you. I don' want you but i need you. And i die if you left me."
Takaki make a sincere smile. "So, you answer, Kei?"
"I do..." Takaki giving Inoo another hug.
"Can i confess something?"
"Yes...what?"
"You have beautiful smile that i ever seen."
"This smile exist because of you." Inoo chuckle and kissing Takaki on a lips.
After the event end, Takaki walk Inoo again to the bus station and not log after the bus coming.
"Do me a favor, Kei..."
Inoo frown.
"Say thank you from me to your mother."
"And why is that?" Asked Inoo while climbing up the bus stairs.
"Thank her because she gave birth to an angel who was put into my life and one day whom I hope will become my wife."
"I will... Yuya. I will..."

"Tell me again why we need to pack up at the day we'll going to off by plane to honeymoon in less than 5 hours?" Yuya whine while he putting what's inside his wife's cabinet.
"So that after we back from honeymoon we don't need to go back to my house again. This city is quite far from our house in Tokyo, Yuu..."
The newly wed need to pack up Inoo's personal belonging before heading to airport.
"Ah.... I know."
"And i promise you my secret service after we land in Jeju island." Inoo smile and licking his husband's ears indicate a code for something.
"Make my service double."
"Sure my master..." Inoo wink.
Takaki grin and grab envelopes in Inoo's desk when he found a familiar picture.
It's an photo from instant camera. "Hey.... What is this?"
"It's my first love. I found the picture when i was a kid and promise to myself that i will marry whomever in the picture. That kid is cute and chubby." Seeing Yuya frown, Inoo adding an explanation. "But that when i was a kid. I have you now. You are my future life now."
"Did you somehow get this at Nishihama beach? Like.... 15 years ago?"
"How did you know?" This is Inoo turn to frowning.
"You know.... This is funny how fate manage to get us together... To fulfill your wish. My dad lost this picture when taking a picture of me and my family when taking a trip there."
"Oh my...."
"So this is me. Your favorite chubby boy."
"And until now you are my fav." Inoo said before crashing his lips towards Yuya's.
