"Sure looks like a fun gang."

I had a great weekend!

Saturday morning:
I went out to coffee with my best friends, Debbie (+ her boyfriend, Mario) and Trent.
It's been so long since we've all seen each other.
We're all so carefree when we're around one another - people need to be more like them.
It was a huge release - really.
I've been cooped up in my apartment (rarely seeing Cody), I don't mind it, I just needed to get out.
And go out I did! With the best people. EVER.

Saturday afternoon:
I did my youngest sister's hair for prom.
I was nostalgic, but I fully expected it.
I didn't even enjoy my prom - it sucked. HARD.

My favorite part of my prom was the after party. Everything else I try to forget. It was an "okay" time with people that weren't/aren't really friends.

I had to bring my sister and her boyfriend to the ferry in Bainbridge Island.
I invited my other little sister (actually a family friend), Nicole, to come along so that I wouldn't be alone for the 40 minute drive back.

I won't bore anyone with the story so here it is cut down - 15+ mph over the whole time, hit every red light, road rage, get to their ferry EXACTLY on time. Go me.

On the way back I spotted a beautiful green 2000 VW GTI that I'm seriously thinking about buying. It's just my kind of car :)

Saturday evening:
My first time seeing Cody that whole week.
Oh my God.. I've missed him so much!
I know I live with him, but out work schedules prevent us from have any time together during the week.
But we do what we have to.
All we I did was watch Cody play Portal 2.
Sounds exhilarating, I know!

Sunday evening:
Dinner at Cody's parents' house.
I wish I could eat Cody's mom's food all the time, but my weight would shoot off the scale.
No joke though - Cody's mom (+ my momma of course) could cook circles around all the moms I know.
Tender porkchops, rutabaga mashed potatoes, gravy, and some squash casserole with Ruffles chips - AMAZING.
I'm getting hungry just talking typing about this and I just ate.
Dessert? Home made citrus apple pie.
I'm so glad there were left overs because his parents let me take it home ^_^ pie for days!

After dinner we took Kitty home with us because Cody's parents are driving over to Virginia to see family.
Boi gets his girl for two weeks <3
And I'm stuck with these rascals M-F <3<3
