Today I...got a raise!!! Woohoo! I didn't even have to ask for it. Jaco, (my boss/owner), asked me to edit this brochure he's working on for the clinic, and so I emailed him back with the changes. He called me right back to tell me I did a great job, and then said, "so are you ready for your raise?" Yippee! The deal was I would get a raise in March, but he says he's happy with what I'm doing and thinks I deserve it now. Couldn't have come at a better time either. Moving out just the two of us is really going to be hard especially with how much rent is out here. (I don't even want to tell you how much this place is going to be)! Anyway, so happy about that.
Tonight while I was organizing the room, I of course, had to overhear Alex's awful conversations with his girlfriend. What was weirding me out was that he talked to her like a little kid, or how you would talk to an elderly person: really slow and using short words like, "You take nappy?" "I ate K...F...C....you know, K...F...C...?" I was getting all mad thinking what kind of woman let's a guy talk to her like she's stupid?! god. well, i overheard that she's 10 years younger AND lives in Thailand! HAHHAH. Okay, I have nothing against dating foreigners, but Kimble and I had a running joke about how the only reason he went to Thailand, (he went 2 weeks ago), was to lure younger girls. Well, there you have it, it's confirmed. He's already saying "I love you." Gross.
