Apple Campus 2 is on the way

Jul 29, 2016 00:41

First announced by Steve Jobs in 2006, Apple kicked off construction on its new 176-acre “Campus 2” in late 2013 and expects to move in around 12,000 of its employees when the project is complete in early 2017. The campus located approximately one mile east of its current headquarters in Cupertino, California is also often referred to as the Apple “Spaceship” due to the appearance of the site’s main circular building.

It's been around a year since the Apple started to build the new campus on Tantau Ave. The contractors removed old buildings, cleaned up the land and they promise that the complex will be done by the next year.
