People suck
One of our neighbors dogs just got hit by a car :(
She was still alive so we offered to take her to emergency, even though we know she can't afford it (just the doc seeing her is 130). They're gonna see what they can do for her. The receptionist is talking to the owner, doc doesn't think there's broken bones. The doc thinks it'll be about 200. Idk how any ones gonna pay for it. Oh ok. Shawn just informed me they're giving her 30 days to pay it.
I hate people who hit an animal and don't stop. The decent thing to do is find the owner or take it to emergency. In this case it was a good thing Juan heard the wimpering. I came out of the bathroom and the dor was open and Shawn and Juan were in the middle of the road talking to someone, I thought they were getting in a fight with someone until Shawn turned around and said we had to go to emergency. I walked over and checked her to make sure she was alive, I could feel her heartbeat so I picked her up and carried her to our doorstep to check her out. I didn't find anything broken, but she was bleeding at the head and hip. I guess they're gonna stitch her up and let her go. We're just waiting now for the dog.
