Gardening and Geothermal activities

I'm sitting here listening to my young one hack and cough, wishing she could get all that gunk out of her lungs and get it over with. I had a freaking cough, and still have it, and it's been over 5 weeks now. But mine's gotten fewer and far between coughing jags. People keep asking me: Have you gone to the dr yet? No.. no I haven't. Why? Because.

So my friend, http://leviathanapsu.livejournal.com/ , has posted an entry about heating and air type experiments he's going to do. Since that's the field I'm trained in, and absolutely adored learning about, how come I didn't get into that? Well, heck, if he were closer, I'd so totally hit that train! Or..something hip and trendy and oh so clever like that. As it is, thanks to His guidance, I'm looking into Square Foot Gardening. I will take the teachings in this book and make them my own.

I hope.

So it starts with me trying to find lumber I can turn into my pretty, square foot gardening boxes. I don't plan on making an actual square, but instead, long ones along the edge of this home. I'm not sure what I'll plant just yet. Definately tomatos...can't have enough of them. Perhaps some bush peas, some cucumbers, maybe a vine mellon or two. We'll see.

Enough of the surface and vacous stuff. Go read someone elses journal for the indepth, heart and soul. You won't find it here.. that is, if anyone /but/ Levi and His pet are reading.
