Did you know that 2010 is the International Year of Biodiversity?
It's also apparently the Year of the Seafarer. I wonder how many of those seafarers are destroying vulnerable fish stocks/marine mamals/ocean ecosystems...
In other news there have apparently been 13 "notable deaths" in 2010 so far. I bet that's a really fun Wikipedia page to edit.
