hi guys
on friday we went rafting/tubing on the ocoee river...boy that was an experience...we almost died.
but other than that it was a lot of fun!
today we went back to ms sadie's house and worked, since we adopted her for a year were going to be working a lot..
tomorrow megan mcgahan gets her wisdom teeth out! pray for her!
on tuesday me & mas & hilz are gonna go get our permits..YES!!
on wednesday were going to the beach, THANK GOD!
school is starting in like...4 weeks =(
summer is going by wayyy to fast
k this was a pointless post but im bored
k we went rafting on the ocoee river in tennessee....there are a bunch of rivers near that but we went on the ocoee.... i was in a raft with marge, whit, hilz, marge's mom, crawford dowell, lauren hornbuckle, and the guide named jerry....and we were doing just great!! then there are these 2 rapids named tablesaw and diamondsplitter....they are about 20 feet away from each other and they are type 4 rapids (which is big)...and so that makes them the most dangerous, funnest(if u know what ur doing), and challenging rapids...k well were goin down tablesaw and everything seemed alright, but i guess not since we "dumptrucked" (the boat tumped us out and sat back down)...so now all 8 of us are swimming down this rapid on rocks and high water(the water was high since it rained a bunch and all th at)...were under the water, we cant see each other and were scared out of our minds...i think we all saw our lives flash in front of us...well jerry somehow got back in the boat so he pulled marge back in...then marge & him pulled me and hilz and lauren and crawford in... whit is still in the water and her foot is caught on a rock...she didnt do the right position if u were to fall out so that coulda happened to her....but i pulled her up eventually and shes got bruises all over she shinn...marges mom who is like a scardy cat goes down the next diamond splitter ..she is not in the boat...but we do get her in the boat eventually....
i assumed the position so i was not hurt except for a little scratch! but it was the scariest thing any of us had ever experienced! and by God's grace we didnt get seriously hurt!
