ummm I own the Mask. And I actually think, sans the actual mask, that he is quite attractive in that movie. Actually that is part of the movie's theme, that he is attractive. And that is why Camren Diaz ends up with him.
No, that was not the theme of the movie. Something we learn here in school is that if you look at a movie being like, "that can never happen" then you just won't ever really be able to enjoy anything or understand it. The theme of the movie was that Jim Carrey was the nice guy, and that his life sucked because of it. So once he finally learned how to use his talents to good us, albeit with the use of a magical mask that allowed him to use his hopeless romantic side to seduce the woman of his dreams, he actually realized he didn't need the mask at all, he just needed to be the person he was.
But the theme of a movie would never be, this doesn't make sense, this would never happen. Because that would never ever be pitched or be bought or even be a good idea for a movie.
Oh no, I spent months coming up with that concept for a movie! How will I make my millions nowwwww???? I will have to come up with a real concept, much like the writers of The Mask!
I know, screw writing the seventh Harry Potter book, she should just go "this would never happen, the audience knows this pfft *chucks pens and paper out window*"
That was the theme of the movie, you know. It is also why Elizabeth ended up with Will in the first one. Because as we all know, the govenor's daughter would never end up with a blacksmith.
I heard that every Broadway musical is closing because the audiences suddenly realized that people would never spontaneously break out into song and dance.
It looks like you are Carole. And that makes it awkward. haha.
Oh and you jerk, I was thinking of the musical version of Fame and it made me mind blank on how to spell Cameron Diaz. Because the lead in it is Carmen Diaz. And I knew that wasn't right, and I was like, hmmmm...
Yeah, the part with Amy Yazbeck where she tells Jim Carrey that he is like the guy every girl is looking for? Exactly, that's what I was talking about. I like that movie a wee too much ;-)
