international sports
I like watching international games where the US gets their asses kicked. This "USA! USA!" mentality really annoys the fuck out of me. At a global scale, we are not that good. Basketball is now a joke. Baseball is a Japanese sport. Soccer is either European or South American. I hope American athletes and Americans in general will stop with the cockiness and realize that we are so far behind. We suck. Athletes get paid millions of dollars to get whooped by international college kids from other countries... does that make any sense? The Michael Jordan/Dream Team era was the only period where i felt that the US was more of a respectable sports nation. We had the skills to back up our pride. Now we just have no skills and lots of arrogance.
