What up, 2009?
Happy new year AGAIN, F-list!
2008 sorted of stuttered to a stop, eh? Mine did, anyway. Nothing awful, just sort of "oh look there it goes". 2009 already feels like it's got more fizz and bubble to it already. Bring it on. Bring.It.On!

I have goals and the like that this post should probably contain. HOWEVEEEEEER, as it's FRIDAY, and I'm quite hyper:
The First Fangirl Friday of 2009!
1) The Sting is an amazing, amazing, movie- and everybody- whether "it's your thing" or not should watch it. Dad made me finally sit down and watch it for the first time last night... and it was completely blown away. Both Paul Newman and Robert Redford are absolutely amazing.
2) Spaced may just be one of the funniest shows ever written for TV. Thanks to the help of a Barnes&Noble gift card, the shiny Collector's Series is mine, and completely brilliant. Simon Pegg is sublime as Tim. Bill Bailey is amazing. Nerdy Pop Culture references everywhere. Like So. Click and love.
3) T he word/endearment "Numpty" must be integrated into American vernacular- STAT.
4) Rupert Giles is a bad ass, tweed wearing, hot, librarian. Universally known fact. Lesser know fact? The only thing cooler then Watcher!Giles is RegressedAngry16 year old Giles. Ahahaha. There doesn't seem to be a clip- but go and watch "Band Candy". Seriously. And here's Tony. Just Because.
5) I'm not so sure I'm ready to let go of Mr. Tennant's Doctor, yet. I thought I was all good and then this happened, and I got all ridiculous. He's rude and not ginger...
Finally, some FG Goals for 2009:
1) John Barrowman is going to be in Chicago in June. I'd really, REALLY, REALLY like to go.
2) Watch more of my DVD special features. (No, really)
3) Actually review movies that I watch. That's not to say that the reviews would all end up here, but it's something I'd like to try my hand at...
*Pulls face* This actually WAS finished yesterday. It was, but for some reason- it failed to post properly. ANYWHOOZLE.
