No, I haven't died yet. I've really just been too depressed to update. Well, Jesus Vs The Snow Man is the winner of our contest here. I don't know when I will write it, but you can be sure that I will do it. I want to make it really enjoyable for everyone to read, so I'm going to put a lot of effort into it. But sadly, other things are calling my attention at the moment...
Anyway, you all know that I absolutely have to say something about the election. Now, I know that a lot of the media is trying to put across the message that this was a fair election. Well, I’ll tell you one thing for sure: it wasn’t.
Now hear me out, because I’m not just saying this because Bush “won.” You should all know that there were problems with the voting machines form day one. But more to the point, the head of the company that makes/distributes them is a known associate of the Bush family. Now tell me how that insures an honest election…
But I really don’t know how the Democrats could take this one lying down. It’s unbelievable for me.
To go even further into this election, minorities (blacks specifically) were mailed pamphlets that told them two things that I know of…
-
If you are voting Democratic, you would go to the polls November 3rd
-
A location was listed for them to go and vote, but said locations were revealed to NOT have voting booths.
It’s sounds ridiculous, I know, but it’s true. Currently, charges are being perused against the Republican Party. However, I doubt there will be sufficient evidence to bring up any irrefutable charges or claims.
In Pennsylvania, there were polling machines that had 500 votes for Bush on each of them before the polls even opened! If that wasn’t caught, there would have been over 2000 anonymous votes for Bush. The machines had to be reset to go back down to zero. But just think for a moment… If that happened in Pennsylvania, just think of where it may have happened and gone undetected…
There were also numerous complaints that the touch-screen booths weren’t working properly. People stated that they were trying to vote for Kerry, and when the confirmation screen popped up, it prompted them that they were voting for Bush. Victims stated it took them numerous tries to pick Kerry successfully.
Also, down to OHIO! The state that cost Kerry the election… While polls were still open (with long lines, mind you) Republican representatives traveled to the districts and tried to close down the polls. Thankfully, they weren’t allowed. Also, it is painstakingly obvious that not all of the votes were counted. For one, the Exit Polls (which have been reliable for correctly predicting the outcome of any state for the past 20 years) stated that Kerry would CLEARLY win Ohio. Secondly, the man responsible for counting said votes (for God-knows what reason) was the Republican Attorney General.
Now, I’m sure there is much more evidence of a faulty and unfair election that I am not aware of. If you know something and would like to inform me, PLEASE post a comment.
