Wow, yet another Monday off from school. Last week, snow was to blame. Today is good ol' "Transition Day." For those of you that don't go to Jackson Memorial High School, it's the day everyone "prepares" for their new classes. I have yet, in my three years of attendance to this high school, to use this day properly. I usually just sleep in, play guitar and video games.. and chat it up.
But as for the new classes, I'm a bit worried. As far as I know now, I only know one person in ANY of my classes. But I'm sure someone I know will end up being there. But it sucks, because I have so many old inside jokes from my last classes (gym specifically.) I'll start saying them out of habit and everyone will look at me like I'm crazy.
Oh well... Time to move on I suppose.
Anyway, yesterday was pretty cool. I went to Sheryl's birthday party, which was twice rescheduled. It was indeed pretty "bangin." There, my lame attempt at being cool for a moment. I couldn't even say "bangin" without putting it in quotes. I'm so lame.
So, it was basically just a "hang out and joke about shit" party, because of the staggering number of people that couldn't make it... You bastards! But it was funny, because I knew one thing that was going to happen right away (because I'm cool like that.)
Before the party, Sheryl had informed me that I most likely wouldn't know any of the people that were there... (I knew one, for the record, besides Sheryl) She also told me that there would be a couple of Sophomores there. Right away, because from time to time I can predict something like this, I knew that one of them would know my girlfriend (yes, my SUPER SEXY girlfriend) for the reason that she herself is a sophomore.
As soon as I walked into Sheryl's house last night, I get quickly introduced to everyone and am then promptly asked "Are you going out with Ashley Kirkpatrick?" Score. (I love you, babe!)
So yes, last night was indeed cool. As far as what I'm doing today I have no idea. I'll probably go shopping for clothes... I've been wearing the same three pairs of pants in a solid rotation for the last few months. I really need pants...
