Thank you for posting a follow-up. I was wondering and worrying about you and the cat. What a horrible position to be put in. Thank goodness your cat sitter had insurance, and thank goodness they came through. Poor kitty. What a trauma for all of you.

(ps. pls make sure you discuss this with the insurance company, that you did NOT choose place #2, that it was a necessary transfer so kitty would be monitored, and that you had already questioned their fees. the insurance company may have more pull and get them to reduce their ridiculous fees)
