gateway laptop suckage
Another thing that has me feeling really fatalistic at present: in episode 1,398,182,128 of the interminable saga of my shitty, shitty Gateway laptop... the CD-ROM drive isn't working.
I haven't touched the CD drive since I got it back from the last repair job. It worked fine before I sent it in for repair. So unless CD drive gnomes came to break it in the night... when they "fixed" the last problem, they must have broken the CD drive (or else it broke in transit, but the courier box was so well-padded that I think it's more likely it got fucked up when they were repairing something else).
On the positive side of life's ledger book, I have pesto spinach pizza and a bottle of brown ale, which is going a long way to dull my rage over the lastest turn of the screw with the laptop.
I'm going to enjoy this delicious pizza and daydream about Decor. I wish I was better at coming up with mysteries, because Decor needs one to act as an engine for the (far more important, heh!) boykissing plot.
