Dropping anth_mona from the ol' f-list despite my interest in the topic, due to the "I have just decided that this forum is not about debates like this - it's about studying fandom." post. ("Debates like this" being a post she made asking what a tinhat is, with predictable results.) Uh, good luck studying fandom without debates like that. Debates like that are probably a quarter of the interaction in fandom.
I watched Soylent Green tonight and it gave me a rentboy!Elijah bunny. I SAID NO MORE NEW IDEAS, DAMMIT. But I can totally see it. Argh.
