your voice is soothing, but the words aren't clear
first of all, i meant what i said about kassandra performing with betty on december 18th at joe's pub. just so we're clear.
very good day today, surprisingly enough. mostly due to a surprise guest and (who else?) maleeza.
let's discuss the surprise guest first. does "the fonz" mean anything to you? "Mr. Arthur Fonzarelli?" "FONZIE?"
well he spoke at our school today. that's right. the fonz (also known as henry winkler) gave a wonderful hour long speech at p.p.a.s. today. and then afterwards, i made it through the crowds to be at his side. he said "hey cutie", which only a man such as himself could pull off, then hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. yes. darn right this cheek will never be washed again (well, perhaps the occasional scrub for good measure, but nothing else).
the other fantastic event was the maleeza time. these thursday afterschool aliza and m.j. extravaganzas are OFF THE HOOK, for lack of a better phrase. last week we ran into (and possibly stalked for just a bit) shawn from boy meets world. that ain't even a joke. it's the gospel truth. and today was just very lovely. i don't believe there is another friendship like the one aliza and i share in the world. we have the same sense of humor and political views and we are both very strong characters in different ways. and i can't talk to anyone with my eyes the way i can talk to aliza with my eyes. half of our communication is through the eyes. oh man. that just reminded me of long lost christopher perez. how sad. i really must get contact information for him from someone.
