There's a nip in the air (in parts of the Northern Hemisphere, anyway) and the Fall TV season is underway. Oh, also, school. So maybe that's a good time to reflect on our cast's past hijinx and ask what people are planning to watch (OTHER THAN THE OBVIOUS) this Fall? Meanwhile, please enjoy bb!Karl and the rest...

Well, as probably one of the few people who doesn't really like that Once Upon A Time show- very much fairy-tale-esque, if you enjoy shows like Supernatural and Grimm, you'll like Sleepy Hollow.

In as much of a nutshell as I can place it (because I'm terribly long-winded), Ichabod Crane is killed during the opening scene, which takes place at the Revolutionary War, by a headless soldier who has the oddest mark on his hand, a mark Ichabod was looking for. He's buried in a crypt and wakes up in 2013 thanks to some kind of witchcraft and there are some funny moments where he's exploring the newness of this time-period but he finds out quickly that the headless horseman is also on the lose. Turns out the headless horseman is one of the horsemen of the apocalypse, which is a nice twist and one I don't mind sharing as it was all over the network's description before the show aired. Ichabod is arrested by a young officer who immediately realizes he knows something about the headless guy that has killed several in their small town, so they end up teaming up to go after him. At the end, there's a nice long sneak peek at future eps and they look really good, again, if you like that creepy type vibe, and I do. Oh, and the guy who plays Ichabod? He's nice and easy on the eyes :D Always a plus in my book.

OH God.. April for Game of Thrones? I'd forgotten that. Man, November isn't looking so bad now ... LOL

Thanks, that's very helpful! It does sound intriguing, with the apocalypse tie-in. I think I'll add it to the TiVO roster ;)

And November is NOTHING to us Star Trek fans. The idea of getting new material every week has me downright giddy.
