I'M SO MAD I COULD FRIGGIN' SCREAM

Check out the article below with Kevin Reilly over at FOX preening at how brilliant he is and how he wants to attract top tier talent, and how he wants to give shows a chance to hit their stride over the course of a FULL season. What total, unmitigated ...well, you can read below what I've posted on Vulture and on Tumblr and I've tweeted FOXTV that this is just a pack of lies. This jerk wouldn't know quality if he fell over it.

Why Fox’s Kevin Reilly Is Canceling Pilot Season: http://www.vulture.com/2014/05/kevin-reilly-on-fox-pilot-season.html?mid=vulture_newsletter&om_rid=AAAyOw&om_mid=_BTaVReB853vx-C

I want to scream at this man and shake him silly. He HAD TOP TIER TALENT in Almost Human, from JHWyman and JJ Abrams in production to movie star Karl Urban to the always amazing, award winning Michael Ealy. Did he give them a shot to shake things out over the course of the year? Did he care about a six million and growing viewership? Did he care that he pretty much destroyed the show's chances in the UK just before it launched there as a 'New Hit Show in American' by cancelling it -- without yet having the decency to say why. I'm rarely so furious as to be nearly inarticulate but this article, everything he says in it, is such utter BS. The man is a menace who hasn't got the first clue about quality television, renewing shows that are struggling, dying, clearly in their last season but not giving something with the five year plus potential of Almost Human a shot. Seriously, I really, really want to scream at him for being such a two-faced liar. He's a menace to good entertainment on television and FOX should fire him with the same courtesy he showed to the Almost Human team:let him find out from the entertainment zines and blogs like they did.

::takes a deep breath:: In more positive news, AH debuted in the UK to pretty much solidly enthusiastic and positive response, according to Twitter. The studio has been advertising it as the 'New Hit Show in America'. Yeah, right, the 'new hit show' they couldn't be bothered to support or renew. ::spitting nails::
