so i'm sure i'm overreacting, but rita has me pretty freaked out. maybe it's just because last time a hurricane came sort of near texas my neighborhood flooded. does anyone else remember allison in 2001? that was horrible. no power and lots of damage and several deaths. i'm so worried about everyone back home, especially my kiddos in h-town. please get out of houston my darlings! drowning is a bad way to go. i'm going to go listen to yesterday now. paul mccartney and john lennon soothe my soul.
