I'll be honest. In the beginning before you made the point you were going to make I was wondering "why is she putting such personal information out there ?" Not necessairly in a mean way. Just in a "oh my gosh !" way. I don't know how to explain it
I was thinking about you earlier tonight. I couldn't sleep and you just randomly popped in my head. I barely check this thing anymore and the other day when I saw you were updating I was like DUDE, WHERE HAS SHE BEEN ?! Then I remembered that I left you that one comment and I came back to see if you were updating again ! Glad you are
I agree with you in so many levels ! Everyone is full of excuses these days about why they are the way they are or why they can't do things. I was actually having a discussion about this with a friend. Everyone is always quick to say "you don't know me or what I've been through" like they automatically deserve all this sympathy because of that. I'm not trying to be mean. I understand people go through some hard times ! But, why hold on to that ? Why hold on to all that pain ? Why not move on and better yourself and JUST BE HAPPY. I might not have had the hardest childhood - Victor has told me some sad, sad stories and I can't help but cry - but I've been through some things that have tested my strength. I refuse to sit around and think about it though. It's so pointless. If anything, all those hard times should make you into a stronger person and make you want to be better and provide a better life for yourself and your children if you have any
I can talk about this forever. It's really frustrating. I can be sensitive to it but to a certain point, you know ?
I am proud of you though. You had a hard childhood & I can't even imagine how many scars you have. I admire that you've picked yourself up and moved on. That you have a great boyfriend and a wonderful, healthy child and that you're doing great. Everyone has this image of young mothers being screw ups. Although they're out there, not all of us are ! :)
