See that guy? That's Joe Reo. He's hot. He's the lead singer of Hidden in Plain View. He held my hand while he was singing. Fuck yeah. =P
Got there and couldn't find anybody. It totally sucked. So I stood in a really long line awhile by myself. Kryssy, Arman, Zach, Parker, and someone else? passed by so I started walking with them. Found Brian, Chelsea, Cola, Tony, etc. (lol) and stayed with them. We wandered around while some people kept the place in line. Finally got in. Walked around with Chelsea, Lauren, and Ashley. Colleen called me and we met up. Then I played around with Colleen and Krissie. We listened to Opiate for the Masses. Didn't watch them, but they sounded pretty good. Me and Colleen left to find Arman and Kryssy (unsuccessful.) Ended up hanging out with Krissie, Jared, and Jimmy. We played on the slip n slide. Me, Jimmy, and Jared went to go watch Motion City Soundtrack. So rad. Ended up adding Nikki and Whitney to our group and we went to go see New Found Glory, they were so good. I don't even like them very much. We lost Jimmy when he went crowd surfing, and I had his cell phone, wallet, and hat. So, me and Jared left to go find him. It took way too long. Jared wanted to go see someone play, so I left him to find Jimmy. FINALLY found him, dropped his crap off and sat down with Arman, Parker, Renee, and other people. I was so tired. Mike, Joey, and Justin came over and sat down for a little while. Jason and Katie showed up. Man, I don't even know who all was there. But we were gathered around a tree. Hung out for awhile. Most people drifted off until it was Emily, Parker, Zach R., Colleen, and people I didn't know. Colleen, Zach, and I went to go sit with Missy and Krissie on the lawn and watch Letter Kills. They were alright, not my style. Went on the slip n slide with Missy, and then I took a nap on the lawn. Probably why my chest is insanely burnt now. Walked with Krissie, Zach R., and Colleen to go see Billy Talent, but I left them and watched Underoath. They were pretty good, but they could have done better. After Underoath I stuck around at the stage so I could get up front and watch Hidden in Plain View. Joe Reo jumped down and was up in the crowd singing, which is when he held my hand. Oh yeah. I don't care if he was just using it as support to stay up. He still held it. Anyways. I left that and saw Brian, Cola, and Missy. Me and Missy took a trip to the bathroom and then chilled a minute to smoke a cigarette. Got some slushy thing and walked around s'more. Met up with Brian and Cola, again. Colleen and Zach showed up when we had gotten to the stage Taking Back Sunday was on. I don't like TBS, and I felt like I was going to pass out. So I walked around to some of the band merch tents. I hung around with Arman and Kryssy. Talked to the guy from The Casualties, the one with the really cool mohawk. Then I went and bought the Underoath CD and got it signed. I don't care who doesn't like the new CD, I do. =P Then I went to see From Autumn To Ashes play. I was tired so I just sat down and watched them, but they were still fantastic. Apparently Katie was sitting behind me. lol. Then Jason showed up and we stuck around and listened to Chronic Future play while we were waiting on Avenged Sevenfold. Chronic Future totally sucks, don't listen to them. Then Avenged Sevenfold came on. I was really looking forward to seeing them, but their sound must have been messed up because it sounded like mush. So I found Chelsea and we left.
We went to Taco Bell and my Mom dropped us off at home. Tony, Kyle, and Brian showed up. Then Krissie. Then Colleen and Zach R. showed up. We all hung out awhile. Brian and Chelsea ate Scooby Snack dog biscuits for $2 each. Chel almost threw it up, but damn she was determined to get that two bucks. Tony had passed out in my room, so me and Colleen went to go check on him. Zach took Chel, Brian, Kyle, and Krissie to the gas station so they could spend their prize money. I showered and when I got out of there Zach was taking Tony home and Brian went with him. Chel, Krissie and I talked awhile on the deck. Kyle fell asleep on the couch. Colleen and Zach left. Krissie was on the deck talking on the phone, and she fell asleep out there. Kyle went and crashed on a cusion on my floor. I woke Kris up and she fell asleep on another cusion on my floor and Chel slept on the couch. I slept in my bed, like always. :)
And that was my first Warped Tour experience. I can't wait to do it again next year.
When I figure out how to get pictures off my phone, I'll share the ones I took of HIPV and Underoath.
I can't wait until Friday. Yay. Beloved and BTBAM and Glass Casket.
