Ainley!Master Fan Art

Sharing this here because I can.

I am a terrible, terrible fan-person. But then, that's something you've already figured out.

He know's when to walk away, and he most assuredly knows when to run!

But, just so you know, I take no responsibility for this image. Instead, I blame the Em's (Emily and Emma) entirely for this and any and all of the fan induced squeeing that may have accompanied the idea's conception. But then, I suppose it is my fault for making them sit down and watch 'The Five Doctor's' with me this afternoon.

Most people give Ainley!Master a hard time but I'm going to be honest with you, he was my master growing up and I've always been fond of him. So in that sense, Five Doctors is a treat. Because not only does the master meet every cliché in the villain’s handbook, but he exceeds them. Seriously, he dresses all in black, has a goatee, wears a black cloak and prances across a game board in a sequence that makes no sense to even Terrance Dick's when he isn't high.
There's a scene where he runs away, cloak flapping behind him and all three of us (we apparently share a mind nowadays) look at one another, make the cloak around our face motion and yelled 'Away'.
We are tragic, but that's probably why you love us.

In the second panel, I can’t help but imagine the Master is making the Zoidberg ‘whooop whoop whoooop’ sound as he flees. Hence the flailing hands.

Classic Who is so full of awesome.

I have a much higher quality version of this if anybody wants it for nerfarious reasons...

So, who else thinks I've been messing around with attempting to learn background drawing techs? Do I still fail at basic composition? Y/Y?

And now, to sleep with me, so I can work again tomorrow. After all, Doctor Who DVD's won't buy themselves (for some stupid reason).
