So, I'm sitting here wondering if I should blow $600 on two tickets for
this Peter Davison thing in March (I say $600 because I'm too much of a wimp to go on my own and I'd have to buy a ticket for my mum as well).
I have reservations, mainly because it seems like it's a super creepy thing to do. I've mentioned once of twice that there are a few geek lines I haven't crossed yet, and this is one of them. It seems kind of sad and desperate to pay that much money just to have a meal with somebody you'd really like to meet. But, at the same time, it is dinner with Peter Davison (granted there's probably like 50 other people there, but... you know...). It's Peter Davison we're talking about, one of my 3 equal favourite Doctor's.
Le sigh
I wish it explained what the general tickets included for the sydney lot, other than a chance to pay an extra $40 for photots.
I dunno, even if I just brought the general tickets and did a day trip, it would be pretty awesome to spend the day hanging out with a bunch of fellow Doctor Who geeks fans.
What I really want is an honest to god Doctor Who convention in this country, but I don't think we have those and I dunno if I want to miss out on something like this.
