I just want to say a special thanks to everyone who commented on my first entry. You guys are good sports and I appreciate the humor and initiation.
I'll do you the favor of only discussing that which made me truly happy today, because the alternative is just, well, long-winded. (please forgive ANY sappy poetic nature of the following)
1. the extreme windiness complimented by leaves
2. my large supply of tobacco
3. watching my mother working with admiration, only to have her finally notice me and inform me that she recently bought the exact same coat as me (a cream colored evening coat with light fur around the shoulders). There's hope for me yet.
4. a delicious dinner of rice, chicken, and vegetables courtesy of Ol' Smokey
And MOST IMPORTANTLY:
5. a fleeting hour of perfectly beautiful conversation
