Misadventures in Chocolate (the sitcom)
Well, that didn't last long. My mom's basically already figured out the whole jig re: Operation Chocolate Countdown. Which, by the way, involves me making ten different chocolate-based desserts before Christmas rolls around, and then giving her the brand new cookbook whence they came on the big day.
So anyways the first two recipes are behind me now -- checkerboard cookies and something which was supposed to be crème de menthe cookies but because of huge failure and various plot twists became a surprisingly scrumptious fudgecookielog.
Honestly, this whole endeavour could be a sitcom. I shall call it "Misadventures in Chocolate," only it won't all be about chocolate and the critics will hail me and my genius for the expertly crafted parallels between everyday life's trials and the creation of gratuitously elaborate desserts. Or something. it's totally copyright me now, bitches.
