Sometimes life was funny, Changmin thought while watching Yunho. The leader was reading with attention some article in a magazine and his chatting had stopped for a whole minute now. Changmin was amused to say the least. Yunho usually filled up the silence with incessant and -sometimes- senseless chatter. But today he was immersed into whatever-the-hell he found. Chagmin couldn’t help it. He got curious.
“So, hyung, what are you reading?”
Yunho didn’t answer. Changmin raised his eyebrows.
“Hyung?”
“Oh, Changdola, sorry, I didn’t hear you. Do you want something?”
“Nah, I was just asking you about the thing you’re reading.”
And really, Yunho should have known better than being like an open book to Changmin. His face reddened all of the sudden and he even closed his Men’s Health magazine and hid it under the table. Changmin realized this was a mine of gold set and ready for him to discover and have the time of his life.
“It’s just some article about… flamenco paintings”, Yunho said, his hand moving dismissively at the mention.
“Is that so? Are you interested in paintings now?”, Changmin asked. Yunho cleared his throat and laughed, nervously.
“No, it’s just that it was really interesting. The details about the colors and the expression, the passion… anyways, it’s nothing. Let’s clear this up, Manager-shii will be here soon.”
Yunho got up, took his bowl and his magazine in a tight grip and then left. Changmin took another bite of his hamburguer and munched it. Really, Yunho should have known better at this rate, Changmin thought.

Yunho hid his face into Bambi’s soft fur. He wondered what the hell was he thinking when he decided that it was such a good idea to start reading that article at breakfast and so close to Changmin. The step number one said that he had to get the attention of his prey and that he did, but the thing was that he wasn’t even near to being ready for all this entailed.
“Bambi~ I’m going to die. I can’t keep this going. Why did I even trust BoA with this? What kind of romantic plan would involve this kind of thing anyway?”
He groaned his frustration, muffling it into the duvet. Then he got up and went to refresh himself. It was almost the end of summer, but it seemed that the warmth wasn’t going anywhere any time soon.
He entered the bathroom and took his toothbrush and the toothpaste, careful of not squishing it the wrong way. He stared at the cute whale-y toothpaste pusher that Changmin bought specially for this task. It was a white whale and its tail had some kind of button that, after being pressed, got the paste out.
Sometimes he didn’t know what to make of Changmin’s ways. The kid -more like a man now- still had a cute side, but he only showed it to his friends now. Yunho knew that sometimes Changmin used his Hamtaro pajamas, specially when he was set to a Disney’s movie marathon. Also he still got ridiculously excited when watching One Piece. Yunho loved the way his eyes mismatched when he was laughing and clapping at some joke. Yunho didn’t mind to watch any of that stuff with Min as long as he got to see Minnie happy like that.
But that was precisely the problem.
Yunho was in love with Changmin and, while he knew that the other cared about him, he didn’t know if it was because Min loved him like that too or not. That’s when BoA -the ever considerate friend- brought to him the article that almost caused his heart to stop.
“Yunnie, my calculator of love indicates that, at this rate, you’ll die of sexual frustration soon. And with you, all the HoMin fangirls will perish too”, she said.
“But I don’t know what to do. I mean, look at Jaejoong. Everytime he wanted Changmin to react to his advances, he only got hit or cursed at. I don’t want that.”
“Yunnie-ah, Changmin loves you, but he doesn’t know it yet. So you need to show it to him.”
“How do you even know that?”, Yunho asked while he watched his friend cutting some paper off a magazine.
“Just trust me, ok? Take this and go home, read it with all the attention you can muster and relieve us all from this tension, alright?”, she said, leaving him with a piece of paper that read How to Lure a Shy Aquarius.
After being done with his morning routine, he went back to his room only to find Changmin with Bambi clutched to his side and the magazine in his hands. Changmin looked up at him. Yunho was petrified.
“Care to explain this hyung?”
Now Yunho understood when some people said that they felt like praying to God the Earth would swallow them whole. But he was a leader and 26 for that matter. Trying to come out from his state, he raised his eyebrow.
“Explain what?”
Changmin left Bambi and the magazine on the bed and got up.
“Well, hyung, I think you should have tried with the chinese calendar, because I’m not a shy Aquarius.”
Yunho felt his face boiling up.
“W-what are you talking about?”
Changmin smirked and nuzzled against his cheek.
“So you weren’t reading that article? How come it’s inside your magazine?”
Yunho almost choked on his own saliva. He took a step back, putting some needed and cleared his throat.
“Must be from BoA.”
Changmin raised his eyebrow and said nothing.
“Is that so? Well, Manager-shii is waiting for us at the lobby. Are you ready?”, Changmin asked, gazing intently at his hyung.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
Once Changmin left, Yunho sighed in relief.
Retrospectively, that could have gone better, Yunho thought.
