Sokka - Kind of likes Sokka despite being called the 'cup guy' by him. Nickname: Fluffy
Chizuru - Ban likes Chizuru, though he doesn't have much to say to/about her after the crystal incident that left Ban in her mind way too much.
Ishida - Thinks he's fun to tease. Nick: Neo Thread Spool (this is because a character from Ban's world named Kadzuki fights using string, and Ban calls him Thread Spool)
Ichigo - No real opinion on Ichigo, despite that they've had several exchanges. Nickname: Orange Haired Brat, or just Brat for short.
Mello - Ban, inspite of himself, likes Mello. He's aware that he pisses Mello off but at least half the time it's intentional. Basically, Mello was at a bad place in life at exactly the same time Ban decided to make himself a little more nice so he wouldn't have quite so many people at camp hating him. He followed Mello into the woods under the very genuine intention of not letting him get eaten by anything out there and they talked. There were a few more incidents after that that were bringing them closer and closer. However, when Mello and Near had their BIG STUPID FIGHT Ban was in the middle of it keeping them from dying/killing each other. The whole incident made him tired and also reminded him there was a goddamn reason he doesn't get this close to anyone. Honestly, he probably would have walked out on both of them when they were being stupid, but just earlier that night he had told L that Mello and Near were his friends, mostly just to irk L, but L took it as an opportunity to charge Ban with looking after them. Then the shit really hit the fan and Ban was caught by his promise to keep them alive until L came back.
Anyway, after that incident Ban started rather intentionally pulling away from Mello. He still teases the kid but he doesn't hang around as much, and he doesn't offer himself as an emotional crutch or listen to his problems. And he avoids talking about himself even more. He still genuinely likes Mello a lot, as is Ban's way, but Mello has made it most clear that he's figured out at least part of how Ban lives and the result is Ban being more conscious about keeping their relationship at a safe distance. Ban does kind of regret it, because it's been a while since he really liked anyone as much as Mello, but this is really always how things are for him. Nickname: Kiddo
L - Doesn't particularly like L. Not because L has done anything to him personally but because L willfully has taken kids and put them in a life where they are taught that their one goal in life is to emulate him. Ban is aware that L probably doesn't run the orphanage himself, that L probably was much like Mello and Near once, but Ban has Issues with children being set down a path picked for them both others and the fact that L is aware of the happenings and does nothing about it, even acted ignorant to the idea that they were effectively brainwashing dozens of children, really rather pissed him off. However, since Mello gets his panties in a twist everytime Ban even thinks of disapproving of L or the orphange, and since Ban is really very good at stepping back and not getting involved, he's pretty much dropped the subject of L and the orphanage entirely.
Near - Ban doesn't have a very high opinion of Near. Kind of pities him in a very distant manner and distains him in the same way Near does to him. Near, to Ban, isn't someone who sees depth in people. Ban doesn't hold it against him, really, but he doesn't respect someone so wrapped up in their own superiority. At the same time when he saw the way Near fell appart because of L he was torn between wanting to smack the kid and just pitying him. Nothing about the event made him like Near more, but he did understand a little bit. The fact that Ban treats near with the same teasing as he does Mello isn't really a matter of treating them equally so much as showing to Near that he isn't going to let Near's apathy bother him. Nick: Squirt.
Lu Xun - Ban likes Lu Xun. Normally he would tease a guy like him, but they shared brainwaves for a while. Boyan came in when Ban had been having people in his head for like a week and he was, frankly, exhausted. The fact that Boyan was a little stupid but genuinely kind and guileless and not at all intentionally annoying was a great relief to him. Nick: er, don't think he got one.
Ginji - .......yeah. Ginji is Ban's canon best friend probably true love. As I play Ban he does love Ginji and is aware of the fact, though he'll deny it until his death. However, he has no intention to move on Ginji anytime soon, nor any actual desire to. Two reasons A): Ginji is basically reliving his childhood and Ban wants to let him and B): I really think a part of Ban is waiting for the GetBackers to come to an end. Not a large part, but... enough that he is happy to have things as they are, perfect, just now, and not seek to change them. He's genuinely very happy and despite the way he acts, Ban's libido is perfectly under control nearly all the time. Infact, unlesse it the audience is teasing him he doesn't think about Ginji 'that way' very often. Further more, he's not the jealous type or inclined to protect Ginji from someone else going after him. Ban has utter faith that neither he nor Ginji will ever have girlfirends (or boyfriends) because, frankly, a third wheel would ruin the GetBackers.
Shinn - Has no real opinion on Shinn despite them having a long, weird converstaion in Ban's head. Ban was so tired at the time he barely recalls it. Mostly all he got out of it was the thought of "WHY DO ALL THE CRAZY KIDS COME TO ME WITH THEIR EMO" after Shinn tried to blackmail him into being his shrink. Nick: Er, can't remember actually. Was it like Crazy Robot Kid?
Fred - Find's Fred very annoying and tends to avoid him. Nick: Tomato Face

Cal - Despite the fact that they have talked several times, Ban has no real opinion on Cal. He 'gets' Cal's type and subsequently isn't bothered by him either. Cal's a good guy to bum a smoke off of really, I guess because Cal is just as shameless as Ban.
