show last night

Krimson Reign played at Mojoe's last night with Rise of Ruin and some other band, I think they were called Execution. Not that many people showed up, but atleast the usual die-hard KR fans did. The first band, who had to replace Death By Design cuz their drummer had to work, was pretty kickass. They played 3 covers: Black Sabbath's "Symptom of the Universe", and Slayer's "Raining Blood" & "Black Magic". Then they played an original, which pretty fuckin sweet. It's good to hear a thrash metal band, don't see many of those around these days. They came out all the way from north of Chicago, by O'Hare airport. Gotta have respect for those guys, comin out with short-ass notice (got told at noon yesterday). They had a really good guitar player, this crazy lookin motherfucker...sorta reminded me of the singer from Cannibal Corpse, Corpsegrinder, not that pussy Chris Barnes. We came on next, and we played really fuckin good. During one of our songs, that crazy dude from the first band started moshin the shit outta people. I think I remember him throwing Lamoes around, and then he picked this one kid up and slammed him down on his head. Haha, good fuckin times. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw that shit. After we played, Rise of Ruin went on. They had some really heavy parts, but then they had some really gay emo parts, so they were just alright. That guy from the first band was moshing again with some big black dude. You know, Mojoe's says they don't allow moshing, but they didn't step in once during any of the moshing last night. That's cool to know we can mosh there now, even though I realized new management isn't any less gay than old management was. They won't let us bring our equipment in thru the back anymore, some cop ordinace or something, so we have to bring it thru the crowd, in from the front. Lame. But anyway, it was a pretty fun show. We got another one next Friday at the American Legion in Joliet (don't ask for address, I don't have one yet), and then on Saturday at some chick's garage in Orland. We're playing with a bunch of gay grindcore bands at the garage show, but we're playing first, and it's free. So come watch us and then leave, like me.

Oh yea, and again I have to point out how gay school functions are. Tonight is prom, and all I have to say is that only faags with too much money go to prom. Why the fuck anyone would wanna give their hard-earned money (or mommy and daddy's hard earned money) to our gay school is beyond me. Or even why they do it for some stupid bitch is beyond me as well.
