summer time
hello everyone. It has been a while since my update.....i like to gather many thoughts before i write. I figure you want to hear juicy details rather than a day by day. Anyways...my summer has been pretty fine. The past two weeks have been torture and hell at times but i made it. Band camp was like boot camp. I learned a lot but it definately took lots of dedication to wake up every morning at 6:45 and be there at 8. Then, we march outside in the hot (and i mean HOT) heat of the day where we are sweating for two hours straight and walk back into a freezing cold building. My body temperature hasnt had such a drastic change for such a long amount of time like that. It was bad at first....i was very resistant to wake up...and it felt like it went on forever. It was definately worth it though. I actually wish we had to tomorrow.....I even surprise myself sometimes.
As for the rest of the summer.....I'm still waiting for a job that pays. No luck with anything just yet but it will happen...I'm persistant enough to make sure it happens. Next week and the weeks to come I am going to be voluteering at the venice hospital for school hours. I'm excited about it because it is only 2 days that i have to wake up early. yay!
Status has been the same. No guys yet...that to be expected though...haven't really been anywhere to say so. I also cant get a flippen ride to the beach to hang out with my friends because of my brother....ugh! So...that hasn't been any fun..no friends = no fun.
Now....I'm off to enjoy the rest of summer.
