Dean shook his head and laughed before looking back at Castiel. “Sure, man. I kinda need it.”
Destiel College AU, in which a demisexual Castiel meets a pansexual Dean, and the road to love is paved with Michael Bublé.

Notes: So, working with Beth was totally awesome. I got to illustrate (and beta) a great fic, and it was a ton of fun. -Oh, funny story! I signed up as an author for the DCBB, and as an artist. When I finally got to choose a story to illustrate, I picked hers because its themes sounded like things I would put into my own stories. And we got to talking, and it turns out that not only does she read my stories, she lives in the same city. The same small, remote city on a distant, remote island: Wellington, New Zealand. Do you know how unlikely that is? This is an American-based fandom, and the DCBB is a worldwide fan challenge. Hundreds of people signed up. The chances of us not only having the exact same interests, being successfully paired together, and living in the same god-damned place are absolutely monumental. Almost like it was fate or something. So we met up for frappuccinos and chips and I discovered, unsurprisingly, that real-life Beth exudes precisely the same amount of coolness as her story. That is to say, a lot. You should read her fic. It's good stuff.
