I'm good! Me and Yu found a bunch of books at the school, but I can't really read them because they're in, um... Russian, I think. He started teaching me how, though.

[Allen doesn't know much Russian beyond a few choice words, several of which aren't meant for polite conversation. You're much better off with Kanda.]

That's good! What sort of books are they? And do you want to go search in the other apartment rooms?

I think a lot of them are fairy tales, but there's one with numbers and math in it too.

How many rooms are there?

The last one sounds like a textbook. Didn't you find anything to draw with at the school?

There are nine levels in this building, six rooms on each. A few were heavily damaged, though, so probably somewhere around fifty. I think eighteen of them are occupied at the moment.

I found some pencils, but they don't draw on the walls very well. Maybe chalk...

[He takes a moment to count on his finger.] ... That's a bunch of people I haven't met yet.

Chalk? There should be some at the school.

You'll probably get to meet them eventually. Some of them looked like they're around your age. [...In fact, the number of children around this place is sort of distressing.]

Really? Are there lots of kids here?

Huh? Oh― Because we don't know what's out there. I haven't run into anything dangerous yet, but Kanda said there were zombies before I got here.
