Just got home from the funeral home... Rest in Peace Suzie's Grandpa...I'll never forget the ride in the model T this summer!
A few random thoughts from this evening:
Dad is sick. He's having heart problems. I never used to worry about him. Everytime he said he was sick I'd just roll m eyes and pass it off as wanting attention. This time, I've got that bad gut feeling. He's at home, but they have him on a portable heart monitor.
I handled the funeral home well, cosidering it was the same one as my mom's funeral, plus the same room. But I tried not to pay attention to where I was, but more of why I was there. Suzanne was truely there for me when mom died and I have every intention of being there for her forever.
Despite everything, Suzanne is doing well. She cracked a smile many times and I'm sure alot more are to come when we go out to dessert later tonight.
Don't expect me around too much at school until I'm assured that dad is ok. Like I said before, I normally pass it off, but this looks and feels serious.
