Life is just peachy keen

As hectic as life is right now, I'm generally still happy.

Me and my new boy, who I will now reveal is Trevor, decided that we are officially dating as of 7:30 am January 16th. He's such a sweetheart and I had a great time with him last Sunday. Now that the semester is in full swing, I don't get to see him much, which sucks a whole lot, but we'll deal and I'm sure that we'll make the most of our time when we do get to see each other. (Insert devilish grin here!)

I started my education class on Monday. It's alot different than I thought it would be. I thought it would be "This is how you teach. This is how you break up a fight in class. This is how to control yourself from throwing the bad students against the wall." It was very emotional and is structured to teach us how to accept each student and be compassionate about thier needs. I actually cried after the professor read a passage about a boy who's family situation was bad and his teacher, who initially did not like him, ended up becoming like a mom to him and inspired him to do great things in life. I will be sooo lucky to be able to touch just one person's life. I think I've really found my calling!

So, with the addition of this class to my already heavy courseload, I have 21 credit hours, 8 classes. It's not only to help save time and use up some extra finantial aid to limit what my dad has to pay out of pocket for the summer, but it's a test of myself. I want to see how well I can react in this situation. Hopefully, I'll learn I can handle more than I think.

Last night was the pref party for the Sigmas. All fo the new girls are wonderful. I'm so excited to see all of them interested in the sorority. I can't want to see who signs thier bids and will be our new sisters. Having everyone there and to hear what Sigma means to each sister present really renewed my passion for the sorority. I love everyone of the each for a different reason, but all unconditionally. I can't wait to get to know the new members of our family.

On a couple more random notes, I've been fighting off this damn cold since new years and it's showing it's ugly face more than ever. Last night I developed a cough to go along with my sniffles and sinus headache. I think a trip to the store for more robitussin is in order after dinner.

I noticed something really wierd in the bathroom a few minutes ago. I always noticed that the buildings at this school were not exactly "up to code" but something never hit me until now. Who in thier right mind would put a soap dispenser two inches above an electrical outlet where extremely wet hands are reaching on a regular basis. I sure hope the people attending my school are getting a good enough education to know that this may not be the logical thing to do.

Oh well, back to getting paid to do my homework! I love my job!
