I'll be Damned TOO!!

How many times have Sadie and I sat in our dressing room and said
"Well, Eugene I know you just gave us a places call but we aren't ready and it's not like you are going to start without us."

WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG So freaking Wrong

The costume change takes awhile and there is a makeup change and you know me I'm a primper.
And last night I just wanted to take off my clothes and chill out because it was so freaking hot onstage! Then our headpieces weren't fitting because I had Sadie's on and she had mine so we had to switch. Well, we start walking to places and as we round the hallway towards the AB we hear Songbirds coming from the stage. I of course think 'oh the band is practicing'

WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG like that rule about white and labor day and easter WRONG!!

THEY STARTED THE SHOW WITHOUT THE FREAKING TWINS !!!!!!! THAT IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!

So we awkwardly walk onstage and continue on with the show.

For those that may wonder Well, what takes so long
Here's the list (I'm mainly writing this because I'm on vocal rest and there isn't anyone to chat/write to in the lab)
Step one: Remove sweaty costume that we close act one in
For those that haven't seen the show this is also a costume we do a dance in
It consists of;WIG, Dress, Jewelry
WE then breathe, pee, drink more water, and I usually apply more baby powder (Shut up it Totally helps with the sweat factor)
Makeup change: Remove previously lacquered on lip color, line eyes more shadow, put on red lipstick, layer powder, layer, lip sealant all so Jake Boyd's lips don't become raped with red lipstick .
Then black wig cap over biege one, Black underskirt, Then Kimono which snaps and then the obi which is the hardest thing to put on and then the WIG.- b/c it deserves capital letters.

Well last night the wigs got mixed up so sadie and I had to switch and that added time. Meanwhile due to a misscommunication they started without us.

So WRONG to the infinity level.
Oh well, Live theater.
