Saturday was a big day for me and my BookCrossing friends here. We were able to participate in the 6th Annual Hawaii Book and Music Festival and set up an OBCZ (Official BookCrossing Zone) for the morning. By the end of the day we had released 400 books.

I managed to miss the entire festival, because there were so many people asking about BookCrossing and about the stacks and stacks of books. The main sponsors of the event have a book swap tent, and we know that some of our books made it into the swap piles there, but that just means that other books were released from those tables. We even had a few people hand us books, including one which became our first catch of the day!

The larger Wendall did a good amount of the grunt work for us, and the younger Wendall was an ambassador, sprinkling books and smiles on unsuspecting children.
I had so much fun. Did I mention how much fun I had? Fun!
