A fresh start
Wendall left Virginia just a week ago. He has had a very busy week, and is taking a break tonight to pat himself on the back. In that one week he managed to find a house and a car which will suit us quite well. He is very good at hitting the ground running, especially when we are not in his way.
We will be living on the North Shore, home of the big waves. We had hoped to find something near the beach (no view needed, just let me head out for a sunset as often as possible, thanks!), and we indeed are within walking distance. We are also close to shops and restaurants, and there are sidewalks nearby.
All in all, I think he found a great place for us to call home for a bit.
The boy and I will head out next week. The cats fly out on Tuesday, so everyone keep your fingers crossed for a cool weather report for the day. We will fly out a day or so later, and I just have to pick a place for dinner that night.
