I wish I had time to post. I wish I had time to do more than sit still for a few moments, but it is not to be.
Family arrive on Wednesday.
Hubby graduates (and gets promoted) on Thursday.
Boy ends school on Friday.
Weekend visiting family.
Movers come on Tuesday, stay till Thursday.
Long weekend cleaning
Hubby flies Tuesday
Kitties fly one week later.
Leave house one week later.
Ship car.
Fly.
Things I will forget to do:
Say goodbye to this place.
Put paperwork where it should be.
Pack the clothing we will actually need.
Request The Boy's school records.
Breathe.
Things I will spend my time doing:
Remember that I have done all of this before.
Remember that I will do all of this again.
Remember that I will always have another chance to get it all "right".
Remember that no matter what, it will all be done.
We spent last weekend at a friend's house. She is one of my oldest and dearest friends. She married her husband two weeks after I married mine, and she has two young children. Her family has lived in the same house for nine years, but we had never been ale to visit them in that time. It was such an amazing joy to sit at her table this weekend. Watching our sons play together made us both laugh. Having the chance to wake up and spend the day with her family gave me the peace I needed to get through the next few weeks.
It is good to know that I am living a good life.
It is better to know that my friends are also living good lives.
It is best to have those two intersect.
