the fish whisperer
not that i'm out of the woods just yet, but...
one of my goldfish, Strawberry Jam, has been found to have dropsy.
a supposedly terminal infection/disease. plus a tumor she's had on her head since a month into ownership.
she's the only one that has it. the dropsy. weird.
i thought perhaps she was pregnant, but....it simply looked too gross.
i've had strawberry jam about as long as i've had the tank. 3-4 years now?
she's grown. and fat. about the size of a clementine.
and i'll be damned if she isn't getting better!
i kill all houseplants. the only ones i can keep going are orchids. supposedly difficult to grow.
and now...a terminal fish disease, gone?!
if the stupid fish dies, it is because of that damned tumor. because all of the swelling and....gross detail i won't share for the sake of your tummies...disappeared!
fish antibiotics. i thought i was too late. who would have thought?!
