Dear Friendly Readers,
As of late, the boy you all know as Matthew Heroman has been a little bit disjointed. If he has said or done anything out of his typical character, he doesn't mean to offend. Really. I was talking to him about it the other day, and he seemed concerned that maybe people are beginning to think he's a big jerk. I tried to assure him that he wasn't, but he wouldn't buy it. I think maybe he's just been in a bit of a funk given the state of affairs on certain hot button issues. He asked me to assure you, his loyal readers and friends, that everything is okay and will continue to be so, so long as he can keep his head above water and his feet on the ground. He also asked me to extend a big 'Thank You' to all of his friends and companions, without whom he wouldn't be the man he is today.
