I am 22 also. My first son was an "oops" baby that I had at 19. I had my second son at 20 and I just had my third. I have had no social life since the birth of my first back in 2004. None of my previous friends are married and none have children. I have nothing in common with them anymore... my boys are my life and I can't have a conversation with anyone without talking about them. I've just started finding other mothers to talk to but they're all over 30 and have no common interest. My husband and I are still young and want to do stuff with friends but part of being parents means not being able to just run out to meet some friends whenever they call up. Being a parent means having a diaper bag packed with changes of clothes, diapers, wipes, and snacks at all times so that you don't forget anything when you're running late for that important appiontment but then still being late because you had to change your kid at the last second from poopoo leaking out or them finding a pen in your purse to draw on everything or just emptying your purse... It means spending so much money on clothes, diapers, food, and toys for your kid that you don't have money to get that much needed/wanted bigger place or that newer/less broken automobile or that cute outfit you were eyeing at the store. It means being elligible for a child tax credit. It means having a camera in reach of you every minute of the day just to make sure you don't miss anything cute. It means going to bed at 10pm just to get enough sleep to get through the next day... and the list goes on and on...
