My sister in laws son my nephew has been put on the at risk register. My SILs boyfriend beats her up and has done for 2/3 years. She is now 8 months pregnant. Her son from her previous relationship lives with his dad in the week and her at the weekend. They are having lots of meeting with social services about it. They want to talk to me as her family member. Im cool with this as I have a lot of things to say that I'm not convinced they know yet. Im just wondering if what I tell them will be confidential or not as I would be worried for my family's safety if the boyfriend finds out it was me who told them. I have never had any dealing with social services before and would like to know what to expect.
