Venus
my dear friends,
i don't think i've made this entirely clear before so i shall take this particular occasion to be succinct. as you may have noted i have a deep and abiding appreciation for science. being able to witness the transit of Venus fills me with profound wonder... what the underlying astronomy of such an event has given to our understanding of our solar system and indeed the universe that we live in fills me with awe and joy.
but, conversely, if you speak of astrology... if for example someone were to comment on how Mercury being retrograde has some effect on our lives... please understand that although i may smile and nod, i do not have any respect or credence for such.
in more simple terms;
astronomy == science,
astrology == bullshit... albeit bullshit with a very very long and varied history.
