burning dreams
i just had my first burning man dream in far too long, probably related to having just bought tickets
it didn't take place on the playa... but it was clear to me that this was burning man
Bex had her first E experience... it didn't come in a form that i've ever seen E in, but i knew what it was nonetheless
my co-worker Nick was there... someone who is extremely unlikely to ever do such a thing, but in my dream he played the part of our host
while there, we patched things up Jez and Andrea ... also highly unlikely, but something that i wish could/would happen. i think it's been knocking around my subconscious for a while
i dreamed about (re)learning enough welding to take two burning man bikes apart and fashion them into a tandem that could be collapsed down enough to go into travel case... an interesting project to be sure, but i don't think it's the one i'm really going to take on.
in fact, i think that i'm going to sell my hard case. it's just been collecting dust between international moves.
and i really don't know when the next big move is going to be... let alone where. we're here for at least a year (especially given the fantastic new apartment that we're moving into next week, but beyond that i don't know.
i really enjoyed Melbourne. and the US is calling to me again... in a year, the economy may have stabilized enough to make it possible)
