In the cathedrals of New York and Rome there is a feeling that you should just go home
Now i'm distressed. You'd think, with the Internet so vast and expansive, there'd be at least one site out there with the bass tabs to Jump Little Children's song Cathedrals, but no. There isn't a single one.
Rachel learned to play it on guitar and she called me up and played it for me and it was awesome and we sang through the speakerphone. And so now I have to learn the bass part because life will be amazing then. And I tried cranking up the bass (hah!) on my Discman and plugging in my computer speakers, but the bass part wasn't clear enough, even then. So I tuned my E string to a D and improvised myself a little bassline but it DIDN'T SOUND RIGHT and I NEED THE GODDAM TABS!
...but I don't have them.
I think it's fair to say that this is my favourite song at the moment, closely followed by How It Goes and Into the Sea (both by Gabe, which means unless you go to the Parker School in Devens, MA, or you are Rachel or me, you probably don't know these songs. sucks to be you!)
