It's just a ride.
Life is so strange right now. I have been listening to Jem: Just a Ride practically all day today. (Stupid holiday music at work. It just makes people angrier!)
Recent things before the year ends:
I have almost found a place to live, in the location I want.
I might have talked my boss at Borders into a small raise. He actually seemed okay with the idea, so long as I bring it up after Christmas. Huh.
I am going to look for a new job anyway. Hopefully one involving theater and also steady. AND a theater job that will bring in enough munnies to pay for my future apartment. Yeah right. For now, I am designing a show in Seattle (fringe theater!) and trying to get back into Village for the 4th or 5th show.
Still looking into cruise ships. Applied for a Master Electrician position on a tour. We'll see.
I have been forming new and closer friendships with awesome people. Opening my eyes to new ideas that I never would have thought of.
And, in general, living.
I am just in need of a change of scenery.
