The drive to Utah was uneventful, other then 2 teary moments (one when I left WA state, and the other before bed in Boise) and the hardest mattress I have ever slept on in a hotel room.
Once I got to Cedar City, I found the theaters and the production office that had a packet of info taped to the window. My name was spelled wrong....
There wasn't a hello note or anything, just a key, a map, some forms to fill out, and driving directions to my new place. I was looking for my apartment building for so long before I realiozed that the directions were leading me to a house.
A HOUSE!
I was nervous so I knocked on the door, no one answered so I tried my key and it worked. No one was home. In fact, no one lives here. I have the house to myself. Creepy! There are spices in the cupboards, there is only one bedroom with furnature (which makes me feel like I'll be here alone) , a backyard, two bathrooms, two livingrooms (one downsairs where it is cooler), free laundry, and a deep freezer in the computer room. Oh yeah, free internet too!
Awesome!
After I settled in a bit ( meaning that I set up the internet) I met up with Jessilee, met some people, went grocery shopping and returned home. Work is at 9:00am tomorrow, so I have to get some sleep.
Except that I am completely freaked out right now. I have no idea who can see in, what this neighbor hood is like, who knows I'm here, ect. There are a few locked rooms in the house which make me feel like some slasher guy is going to come get me for being in his house. I am so freaked out that the toaster popped in the kitchen and I jumped in the computer room.
<----- is scared. I'll get over it I'm sure, but for right now I am a big 'fraidy cat.
anyway, I should go make my bed and try to stay cool. It is so hot in here!
