(no subject)
Ha ha ha! I just looked up my grades for Scene Painting, Vectorworks, and Advanced Stagecraft. The results? B, A- , B ! I mean really? I was gone for the last couple of weeks, missed the finals, I only went to Roger's classes half the time.... awesome. Just plain awesome.
I got to work early today (we only had to come in at 1:00 ^_^ ) and I am listening to the rehersal going on onstage right now. We have video monitors so we can watch wat is happening onstage. The set is set for La Boheme, but they are rehersing Cosi Fan Tutte. The music for Cosi is very beautiful and the story is a comedy.
Tonight is the Piano Dress rehersal for La Boheme which means it is the first time the spot operators (I'm spot # 5 for this show) get to run through our cues..... for possible cues... or just do whatever the designer or our 2 lighting supervisors say to do. I'm really excited to get to work spotting on the actual people (we have to call them the "talent") in real time. In a couple days is the first dress and a couple days after that is the second dress. Then La Boheme opens the 29th! Cosi Fan Tutte opens the day after tha and the other 3 shows are staggerd.
Got to let someone else use the only computer now. I hope I'll have time to update more soon!
