I've come back from beyond....

Hello my good friends, it has been 5 months since my last post, and I ask for your forgiveness.Well, I guess I should just get to the updating.

-I attended Close Up in January for Inauguration week. Wow. It was awesome. Even though Bush isn't my favorite, just seeing an inauguration was cool. Too bad it took Stephanie (Smith) and I about an hour to get into the Presidential parade or else we may have seen the Pres.. oh well. Well, also saw On the Record while in DC and my god, it was amazing!

-My potential last Mardi Gras came and went and I wish it would've lasted longer. I love Mardi Gras and just being able to act like idiots screaming for a pair of plastic beads that people worship so much. But hey, that's what we call fun down here in The Big Easy.

-Our final Gym Day passed and was it a sad occasion. We performed an AWESOME skit and should've won props but whatever. Oh, and not even getting runner up for Spirit Day was a load of BS. But you know, we just have to move on and realize that we never even got close to winning. :: hold in anger, everything's going to be ok. breathe:: Ok, I'm good.

-I am now a legal adult! (yay!) But have not abused my privileges yet. The day before my birthday I had a crawfish boil and my dad surprised me by inviting all my friends, which one certain person was invitied but decided to skip out me. Oh no names will be mention. ::cough:: MICHELLE :: cough:: Then I had my LYS reunion on my birthday. What a great birthday present!

-I went to district rally for Calculus with the math genius herself, Erin Rooney. Yet I got a call later on that day going just like this:

Erin: "Congratulations"

Me: "For what?"

Erin: "Placing 2nd, Ms. Calculus genious"

Me: ::jump up in down in circles screaming::

Yep, that's about it for district rally. Well, I ended up placing 6th, but it was still good enough to send me off to state, which happens this weekend.

-Then Science Olympiad came around and all you non science olympians have no idea how funny Benigno can be. I think I spent half the day laughing at her and making fun of her, where she would fire back making a smart ass comment about me. (We have a lovely love-hate relationship. Ask anyone in Chem II; they could tell you.) So MCA got 3rd overall, and I end out the day going home with 3 medals: 2nd in Chem ID and 3rd in Mission Possible and Chem Lab. State was this past weekend, the morning after PROM at 7:45 in the MORNING in HAMMOND. Need I say more? Nonetheless, I was half asleep for my two events in the morning, and suffering right next to me was Mallorie. We were the only two Seniors crazy enough to sign up for it. But even though I was asleep during my events, I still managed to place 1st in Chem ID. How you may ask? I don't even know how, so don't even bother asking.

-Spring Testing seems to be the next thing in line. Yes, the LSU hater attended spring testing and actually enjoyed herself while testing out of 17 hours. (Stupid tests causing me to be 1 question away from getting credit in trig and French!). I realized how much I enjoyed being with my friends those three days. Playing frisbee on the parade grounds and making fun of the ambassadors... ah, what memories.

-Oh, I am very proud to announce that MCA's bowling team placed 1st, yes you read right, 1st in our district league pushing Chapelle all the way down to 3rd (ha!). But I guess that bit us in the butts for finals when Chapelle beat us and ending up placing 3rd overall with us 24 pins behind them, but whatever.

-Senior Day was last week, and it was actually a lot of fun. Not that I was doubting the funness, but still. I was very proud of myself for actually getting a tan. A TAN!!! If you know me well enough, I'm about the color of your computer screen right now (I'm going with a white background meaning I'm really white). So me getting a tan is very rare, but hey, miracles can happen! The highlight of the day was definitely Sister driving towards our bus head on. As in we were driving one way and she was coming towards us in the same lane. So of course we all had to get off our buses and listen to Sister tell us how she found out about the party at Jimmy's (ha! that had to suck for the people who were planning to attend that). So that was the basis of that day.

-Then our final MCA prom. ::tear:: It was amazing. I had so much fun! The band was OK but just dancing and not caring anymore was great. Dana, Lauren Coe, myself, and our dates hitch hicked a limo that brought us to Bravos then drove us around a bit until prom. Afterwords, we all went to Dana's and ate ice cream with all the toppings (cookies n cream ice cream with hard chocolate shell, strawberry syrup, caramel syrup, recee's pieces, M&M's) So our sugar high only lasted an hour and we all crashed by 2:00 AM.

-Cam and I made 15 months April 1. Yay! I love that boy, he's awesome. Oh. He's also introduced me to a small, unknown game called World of Warcraft. I dont' think anyone actually plays it anymore because its so stupid that even my firends still never talk about it... yay rgiht. So I'm now hooked at can proudly say that I play at all hours of the night because I can only play when cam's not playing. So I"m now a lvl 27 human mage even though y'all have no idea what the hell i'm talking about. So yea, along with school, work, and WoW, I have no time.

-The finally big update is that I finally know wher I"m giong to college. And I'm not sure if I really want to disclose this information to y'all. But i guess its a must. I'm, um, going to LSU. Ha! I said it. So yea, I'm giving in and actually following the mass amounts of people from school going there next year. So now Cam's excited because we'll get to see each other a lot next year, and I'm happy because I'll be with my friends.

Well, I think that's about everything. Oh right, I'm still addicted to Harry Potter and the new book comes out in 86 days! Ah!! OK, dorky moment over. Good night all!

-Ally
