update.
my boss was pregnant and developed a problem with her gallbladder.
her stomach hurt incredibly bad one day, so i told her to call the doctor and go to the emergency room to make sure everything was okay.
she did that.
next day she's in surgery.
her water broke at just 17 weeks.
she lost the baby.
same time my mother miscarried.
she's going through hell emotionally.
i've been practically running the front end
and doing a damn good job
just hope i've kept things in-line enough for when she comes back tomorrow.
my uncle george came up from florida two days ago.
last night when i got home from work, my family was wasted
so george suggested putting on some music
"dark side of the moon" to be precise
and we sat there, drinking beers together
comparing our acid trip stories
found out that one of dad's sisters
my aunt nancy
my favorite aunt
has lung cancer
apparently there's a large lump
getting a biopsy this week
but not looking good.
i need a vacation from life.
and there's this switch that gets hit
and it all starts making sense
and in the middle of drinks
maybe the fifth or sixth
i'm completely alone
at a table of friends
i feel nothing for them
nothing
